Experience the sights, sounds, and spirit of wartime Britain, and experience life during World War II and how both the military and civilians survived and adapted to war. Action takes place at Rowsley South & Darley Dale Station What to Expect:

Legend tells that it was beneath one of the ancient oaks in this field that the young Queen Elizabeth I heard that she was to be Queen of England. Come and see behind the scenes on the Friday and discover the energy and dedication that goes into presenting such a complex event, and return over the weekend to see us in full action, with soldiers coming under fire and taking casualties out on the Western Front, through aid posts, field hospitals right back to convalescence at home. Over 150 experienced and passionate living historians, covering all aspects - military, medical, civilian and support. A fully immersive event, and one of its kind
